One of the decisions to be made is how high or low to set the threshold where riders achieve a plus. The tables 10, 25, 30, 50, 100, 12 and 24 in this section are based on one of the proposed options, which is to keep the existing base of 1:06:00 for 25 miles for a male rider. This is, we think, the most helpful when comparing the old tables with the new but readers should bear in mind that the standard times shown in these tables could be raised or lowered depending on the outcome of discussions and votes amongst the VTTA membership.
The alternative tables link shows you two more options: a medium threshold of 1:00:00 for a 25 and a high threshold representing elite performance as well as the low 1:06:00 option.
